Statmonkey of the Day - June 18, 2011 (Baguio)

STATMONKEY OF THE DAY
PBA GOVERNOR’S CUP
JUNE 18, 2011

The Alaska Aces continued to grope to form as they posted their second straight loss against the Meralco Bolts in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, 81-78. Lucky for them, Cyrus Baguio is doing just fine.

He is also the Statmonkey of the Day!

Jason Forte also did well for the Aces but with only six games left, his PBA stint is treading in dire straits. Gabby Espinas is the best statmaker for the Bolts.

TOP LOCAL
CYRUS BAGUIO / ALASKA
20 POINTS, 7 REBOUNDS, 2 ASSISTS, AND 2 STEALS

TOP IMPORT:
JASON FORTE / ALASKA
22 POINTS, 16 REBOUNDS, 1 ASSIST, AND 3 BLOCKS

RUNNER-UPS:
2 GABBY ESPINAS / MERALCO
16 POINTS, 12 REBOUNDS, AND 1 BLOCK
3 SOLOMON MERCADO / MERALCO
16 POINTS, 5 REBOUNDS, 4 ASSISTS, AND 1 STEAL
4 LA TENORIO / ALASKA
7 POINTS, 5 REBOUNDS, 3 ASSISTS, AND 3 STEALS
5 SONNY THOSS / ALASKA
5 POINTS, 8 REBOUNDS, 3 ASSISTS, AND 1 BLOCK

CONSIDERED:
Alaska dominated the individual stat list because they lack bench support. Asi Taulava scored 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists and even if that is way off his previous averages, that is a good thing.

Game over!
